Get Away

Schools out and we were all ready for a get away!  I don't usually take my camera on family vacations but I needed to be inspired. I love taking pictures of nature and all the beauty you find in the country. This was a much needed break from the year end hustle. We had a wonderful time with friends, and spent most of the week relaxing and enjoying each others company.  The kids are at the age we can can cut them loose and they had a ball with their friends running a muck... I haven't spent much time just photographing for myself so this was a wonderful treat. I woke up early before the kids and spent quiet time walking and photographing all the things I love.  Lambert was able to golf and relax with a great group of men and then we all met up at the lazy river for family fun. Hoot played tennis, we picniced in the woods, snuggled in our cozy room and ate super yummy meals.  It was a great way to kick off the summer. I'm looking forward to summer meals outdoors, slow boat rides and summer friendships. However, tomorrow I fly out to Orlando for a quick Senior Session at Universal and Disney. I could not be more excited!!
